Abdullah Saeed, PhD, is Sultan of Oman Professor of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Melbourne, Australia. His research focuses on contemporary Qur’anic hermeneutics, with major works including Reading the Qur?an in the Twenty-First Century (Routledge, 2013).
