The Dominican Institute for Oriental Studies (IDEO), in collaboration with Bayt al-Sinnari, is pleased to announce the holding of the concluding conference of the 200 Project.
January 14‒16, 2016
From 9 am to 6 pm.
The lectures will be held at Bayt al-Sinnari (Sayyeda Zeinab area).
The 200 Project, a project of IDEO funded by the European Union, aims at the historical contextualisation of 200 authors of the Islamic heritage.
Bayt al-Sinnari, affiliate of Bibliotheca Alexandrina, was built in 1794, home of Napoleon Bonaparte’s Institute for the Committee of Science and Arts. (Facebook page…)
The lectures will be either in French, Arabic or English. No translation will be provided.
