Salwa al Awa est une spécialiste du Coran. Elle propose une analyse formelle du texte et s’interroge sur les conditions méthodologiques d’une nouvelle interprétation du Coran. Par ailleurs, elle travaille sur une analyse des discours fondamentalistes musulmans.
